Job Overview

We are the largest decentralized perpetual exchange on Arbitrum, processing over $20 billion in cumulative trading volume. We are building critical infrastructure at the intersection of DeFi and traditional finance (TradFi), enabling leveraged trading of real-world assets (RWAs) alongside crypto.

We seek an exceptional Senior or Lead Smart Contract Engineer to help scale our protocol as we expand to hundreds of markets and billions in daily volume. You will work directly with our founding team (Harvard/Bridgewater/BlackRock backgrounds) on mission-critical upgrades.

This is a fully remote role. Direct experience building smart contracts for a Perpetual DEX is non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement core protocol upgrades, new market mechanisms, and essential infrastructure.
Design and maintain smart contracts that ensure institutional-grade reliability and security for billions in volume.
Implement advanced Solidity optimization techniques and gas efficiency patterns.
Oversee and coordinate external security audits and maintain best-in-class security standards.
Manage production oracle integration (Chainlink, Pyth) and keeper systems at scale.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have: 3+ years building production smart contracts in Solidity.
Non-Negotiable: Direct production experience building smart contracts for a Perpetual Futures DEX.
Deep expertise in Perpetual Futures mechanics: funding rates, liquidation engines, margin systems, and PnL calculations.
Proven track record of deploying and managing contracts handling significant TVL ($10M+).
Strong grasp of DeFi protocol design patterns, composability, and advanced security best practices.
Proficiency with development frameworks like Hardhat or Foundry.
Must be available for 4 hours daily overlap with Eastern Time (9 AM - 6 PM ET).
