Job Description:
- Work with directors to determine all aspects of shots.
- Provide practical and creative input to scene planning.
- Select, assemble, and position equipment (cameras, stands, software, etc.).
- Prepare cameras and test angles or camera movements.
- Maintain, clean, and test all broadcasting equipment and cameras daily.
- Apply technical aspects of lenses, film, filters, light, and camera settings to each shot.
- Arrange studio sets to best suit the camera settings and control lighting equipment, film stock, audio, and cameras.
- Shoot scenes according to requirements.
- Capture quality footage from fixed or moving positions.
- Collaborate with editors and sound staff for the best final effect.
- Resolve technical or practical issues.
- Understand and prepare audio-related work.
- Edit footage as needed.
- Set designing, technical equipment assessment & troubleshooting.
- Assist in rental and purchasing of equipment.
